"A League For The Teams, By The Teams And About The Teams"

Ron Neil

Ron Neal #95 of the Philadelphia Panthers, a young man of 23 passed away Monday evening. The RAFL would like like to pass along condolences to the Neal Family, as well as his football friends and family on the Panthers and Bison. "I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times and he was a real nice, respectful guy as well as a hell of a player. I am asking all home teams on opening day this weekend to please observe a moment of silence in his memory honoring him before every RAFL game being played" Said Adam Turkel . "This would have been a better league with him in it." Ron played for several teams over the last couple of seasons and it was just the fact that he loved playing football. He played spring in the DFL, 4 Freedom Bowls and was looking forward to his second season with the Philadelphia Panthers. He was also a former team mate and close friend of many Delaware Bison players especially the owner. Ron “Night Quill” Neil at just 23 years old will be missed by all who knew him.
