Blue Devils Bounce Back

   Brooklyn, NY. The Blue Devils bounced back from there last week lost with a 26-6 win over the Hudson Valley Cowboys. The Blue Devils defense was once again great; the whole defensive group put the Cowboys in 3rd and long situations all day long giving the offense great field position all game long. The offense finally clicked together and put together two big scoring drives in each half. In the first half the scoring drives where finished off by RB Theo Clarke who had a 3 yard TD run and RB Mycoll Brooks who had a 3 yard TD run. In the second half QB Elliott Earle and the passing offense picked it up with a mixture of short passes and down hill running. The two drives in the second half where finished off by WR Jamel Lewis who had a 52 yard end around shake 'n' bake run on the Cowboys defense, then a 2 yard quarterback keep by QB Elliott Earle to put an end to any comeback the Cowboys had in mind. Overall it was a hard fought game from both teams. Both teams are now 1-1. The Blue Devils will take on 1-1 Pit Bulls on July 28. The Devils forced 6 turnovers on defense
