Week Three Recap

New York, NY - Week Three Recap - As the RAFL's third week approached a few teams started to separate themselves from the rest of the pack while others were starting to find steady footing.

This week we'll get the party started with the number 1 team from the east as the 3 and 0 Predators took on the 0 and 3 Wolfpack. The Pack came out banging heads but a few mistakes and the solid rushing attack of the Preds ultimately did them in. The 28 - 17 final to sent the pack home howling at the wind. Both teams have a bye this weekend.

Next up was the marathon game over in Brooklyn. The Jazz were out in full force at this game and even brought out the band at halftime but the Cowboys were up for the challenge. The defensive battle continued into overtime with no one getting the clear advantage. The final score was 0 - 0 and will be continued this weekend at the Cowboys ranch.

The Pit Bulls pounced on the Blue Devils taking an early 19 - 0 lead then making it 25 - 0 before the Blue Devils woke up from the nightmare. Final 25 - 14 Pit Bulls. This weekend the Pit Crew take their first road trip down in Brooklyn for the rematch.

The Nemesis have walked into the RAFL and sent a message that everyone better come to play 4 quarters of football and so far sporting the South's best record at 3 - 0 the rest of the teams have taken notice. In another tough match the Nemesis took out the Jaguars who are still looking for their first win. Final 14 - 8. This weekend they battle the Monarchs in the RAFL game of the week.

Monarchs had a barbeque but the Bison they didn't know they were on the menu. 27 - 6 victory ties them for second place for the best record in the South. This weekend test could start separating the men from the boys as they play the Nemesis.

The undefeated Panthers calmly dismantled the Braves this weekend with a convincing 27 - 6 final. The win put the Panthers at 2- 0 tied for second in the South for the best record while the Braves fall to 1-2.

The final game of the week was another tough battle between the Cowboys and the Chiefs but in the end the Cowboys didn't want any part of the peace pipe and sent them Chiefs back to the reservation with a 8 - 3 loss.
