Blue Devils Bite Back

Brooklyn N.Y., On Saturday August 4, under the scorching heat the Brooklyn Blue Devils defeated the Long Island Pitbulls 26-13. The team was lead by interim Head Coach Daniel Dallemand who took of the pads for the clip board due to his new job. The Pitbulls did not skip a beat from last weeks win over the Devils, by taking the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. But that would have been it for the Pitbulls.

The Devils went into the second quarter trailing 6-2. The Devils took the lead when Theo Clarke broke out for a 52 yard touchdown run and did not look back. Theo finished the game with 205 yards on 17 carries. Elliot Earle and Andrew each scored a rushing touchdown.

The Devil’s defense was lead by Wendell Telesford who posted 6 tackles and 2 sacks.  The Devils will travel on the road next week to take on the Wolfpack.
