Virginia, The battle between the Virgina Cowboys and the Philadelphia Braves was full of non stop action from the opening kickoff. The Cowboys defense set the tone early with a 64-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter. With a failed 2-point conversion the score was 6-0. The Cowboys defense continued to sufficate the Braves offense by rocovering a Braves fumble in the endzone for another defensive touchdown in the third quarter. With another failed two point conversion the score stood 12-0. Early in the forth quarter the Braves offense began to click on all cylinders, capping off a 70-yard drive with a 32-yard touchdown on 4th and 16. With a successful two point conversion the score was 12 -8 in favor of the Cowboys. With 6 minutes and 32 seconds left to play the Braves defense; who was the backbone of the team by not allowing any points to the Cowboys offense came up with a key stop on 4th and 2. The Braves offense took over on their own 28-yardline and marched 72-yards in 5 minutes to take the lead 14-12.
