Round 1 goes to the Brooklyn Jazz

Brooklyn, New York…. On Saturday August 25 the Brooklyn Blue Devils and the Brooklyn Jazz took part in the first ever Brooklyn Bowl in RAFL history, with the Jazz coming out on top with the victory 14-12. The game was on of the most anticipate games of the year, with one team from East Flatbush and the other from East New York .

The Jazz struck first with a short touchdown run by tailback

Eric. J.  Shortly after the Devils tie the game with a touch down pass from Elliot Earle to Jamel Lewis. The Devils took the lead late in the second quarter with a 1 yard run by Elliot Earle, but could not hold on to it. The Jazz took the lead in the third quarter and held on to it to win the first ever Brooklyn Bowl.

The lost knocks the Devils out of the playoff picture for now. The Devils will look to bounce back in two weeks versus the Empire State Wolfpack.
