Prince William Monarchs - National Champions

The Prince William Monarchs have been crowned the "USFA National Champions" with their 6-0 win over the Historic Brooklyn Mariners during National Bowl Weekend in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The Mariners came into the game with a 129-6 record over the last 7 years, and won the USFA National Championship the last 3 years.

The Monarchs complete their record breaking season at 20-0. A record UNMATCHED in Minor League Football. With this record the Monarchs break long-standing Minor League records for "Most wins in a season" and "Most consecutive wins in a season"

The Monarchs complete the season ranked #1 by National Football Events, #1 by the United States Football Association, #2 by Minor League Football News. Although the "politics" of Minor League Football led to their #2 ranking by MLFN, the Monarchs are still looked at as the BEST team in the Country..... by people ALL OVER the Country.

During the season the Monarchs won the USFA National Championship, RAFL Championship, RAFL Southern Conference Championship, RAFL South East Division Championship, USFA Metro Bowl Championship.

The Monarchs scored over 500 points for the season, while giving up an average of 7.3 points per game. and scoring at an average of over 32 points a game. They recorded 8 shutouts, held opponents to 6 or less points in 14 games. The Monarchs played a total of 20 games in 7 different states. Won 12 games on the road some as far as 13 hours away. Claimed 5 Championship trophies and 3 Championship Rings.

This is truly the best season ever in Monarch History, and with new sponsorship and a more business minded vision for 2008, the Monarchs look to become the PREMIER team on the East Coast in Minor League Football. Stay tuned for 2008. It will be the BEST yet.
